We celebrated our 5th anniversary with a trip to Sedona while grandma took care of Hadley. We stayed at a beautiful resort called L'auberge. I would go back there in a heartbeat. The grounds are lovely, nestled along the river and the service is excellent. We checked into our little cabin with a fireplace, deck and private outdoor shower. Martin found a highly rated place for dinner called Elote. It was worth the hour and half wait, very good/ strong margaritas and outstanding food. The next day we headed to Flagstaff where we picked up some sandwiches before making our way to Meteor Crater and Sunset Crater... it was a fun little day trip. Next morning we had a big breakfast at the resort to fuel up for our Sedona adventures. We went to Slick Rock then made our way to Long Canyon Trail for a hike. We missed Hadley something terrible and after little discussion we decided to grab a bite to eat and get home before she went to bed. The trip was fantastic and I thank my hubby for making all the arrangements.
